Secret Seeds

Gran Canaria - Jan 2002

Just a few images of wild and garden flowers we encountered...

wild miniture marigolds (limited seed will be available in the season)

Canarina canariensis (no seed currently available - but we do have a parent plant awaiting sucessful flower buds!)

Ipomoea palmata - growing right on the beach. We have taken some cuttings!!

Solandra maxima - again no seeds - but we do have a few cuttings on the go!

Clerodendrum aculeatum - growing wild

Chamaecytisus proliferus - darn it - wrong time of year for seed!

Cassia didymobotrya - we did get just one or two seeds to start us with some stock plants!!

Thunbergia grandiflora and friends...

Neochamaelea pulverulenta

Can anyone help us with this one? Which solanum is it? It formed quite a large woody bush.

and finally... a typical southern mountain terrain - Gran Canaria - just after the winter rains.
